Digital Extremes CEO Steve Sinclair personally treated Soulframe fans to roughly an hours’ worth of live pre-alpha gameplay footage during his Twitch stream this past weekend.

During the stream, Sinclair showed off the latest build of the upcoming multiplayer action game as he explored its scenic world, fought enemies, flipped through some of the game’s progression and upgrade menus, and pet the massive dog.

He reiterates that it’s still very early in the game’s development, but apparently, he just couldn't resist showing it off to the community. He even called attention to a crafting-related bug that testers recently uncovered and confirmed that the game world itself isn’t procedural-generated, but the dungeons are.

“I wanted to kind of jump on and show you the game,” he said. “It’s just a bit too early and we’re running it on a hamster – a little pre-teen hamster – and just kind of wanted to show you a little bit of this.”

If you’re curious to see what “this” is and have some time to kill, we’ve embedded the full Twitch VOD below.
