Digital Extremes Dropped A New Soulframe Gameplay Trailer At PAX East 2024
Pax East 2024 is now in full swing in Boston, offering up a flood of new video game trailers and teasers including one for Digital Extremes’ in-development fantasy title Soulframe. Compared to the studio’s action-packed sci-fi space ninja shooter Warframe, the upcoming game promises to be a full-fledged free-to-play MMORPG with a slower pace and a distinct medieval fantasy setting which the studio shows off in the shiny new trailer.
The trailer offers players a glimpse of the stunning fantasy world that players will get to explore along with a few snippets of gameplay and a friendly armored bear which could either be a mount or an NPC. That wasn’t clear in the trailer so you can pick whichever works for you until Digital Extremes clues us in on its actual role in the game.
Soulframe is currently slated to launch in late 2024, sometime after the team rolls out the next Warframe expansion. Until then, we can likely expect more trailers every few months or so as development continues on the free-to-play title.
