Embers Adrift Teases Hunting Log System Offering Milestone Titles, Perks, And Rewards

Stormhaven Studios will be adding a new feature to Embers Adrift that will undoubtedly pique the interest of completionists and grinders alike. In their latest developer video, the studio teased the new hunting log that will soon be making its way to the group-centric PvE MMORPG.

The hunting log will keep track of each and every creature type you kill and will reward you with exclusive titles, cosmetics, and stat rewards upon reaching certain milestones. Killing enough crocodiles, for example, will reward you with a crocodile-related title as well as a combat bonus of some sort when fighting them and creatures of the same type.

Unfortunately, the system won’t work retroactively and won’t be able to track kills made before it goes live. The silver lining is that you’ll have something to keep you occupied for hours on end. The team is also working on various combat improvements to make fighting more responsive, smoother, and “a little bit more interesting” while also laying the groundwork for future content additions.
