Embers Adrift Starts Closed Beta Testing And Lifts NDA On March 1
After multiple alpha weekend tests, Embers Adrift, formerly known as Saga of Lucimia, is now ready to move on to the next stage of development and is set to begin closed beta testing on March 1st. Like the alpha tests, beta testing will also be held every weekend and every Wednesday but will be expanded by a few hours. The NDA will also be lifted on the same day so expect to see a lot of streams once beta testing begins.
“All who join us during our closed beta are welcome to share their experiences with the world. Please keep in mind that this is still a test phase; characters may be wiped and things are subject to change. All characters will be wiped at the end of the beta stage in preparation for our game launch.”
Stormhaven Studios reminds alpha testers that alpha rewards will only be available until March 1st. Alpha pre-order rewards will no longer be available once closed beta testing begins. A stress test called the World-Breaker event will also be held sometime during CBT. The World-Breaker event will be open to everyone who pre-ordered the game and a select group of players that will be randomly chosen from those who sign-up on the official site. All participants will receive the exclusive “World-Breaker” title and the Ember Inlaid Sword.
