Escape From Tarkov's Technical Alpha Test Detailed

Battlestate Games published a massive post about the upcoming Escape From Tarkov Technical Alpha Test yesterday, detailing available content, in addition to how invites to testing will work. It will still be early days for Escape From Tarkov when the Technical Alpha Test begins and "the purpose of Technical Alpha Testing infers fine-tuning basic gameplay mechanics under high load conditions, checking of game locations for possible issues, and identification and fixing of the bugs that may occur in the early versions of the game, both online and offline." Players will be expected to report bugs, which Battlestate Games intends to then promptly fix.

Access to the test will be granted in waves, starting with those who pre-ordered the game first. Edge of the Darkness pre-orders will be guaranteed access, whereas Left Behind pre-orders will have a 25% chance of getting to take part and Prepare for Escape pre-orders will have a 50% chance.
