Exoprimal Kicks Off Season 3 And Monster Hunter Crossover Event This Week

Monsters and dinosaurs are set to collide this week in Exoprimal as the multiplayer dino shooter’s third season begins later this week. The highlight of Season 3 is the previously announced Monster Hunter collaboration event that will feature a special 10-player Dino Survival mission that will pit players against the mighty fire-breathing King of the Skies, Rathalos.

The crossover event will also offer exclusive Monster Hunter cosmetic packs, including a Rathalos, Kirin, and Nergigante armor skins for Murasame, Skywave, and Barrage, and a Rajang monster skin for Roadblock. The packs will also include Monster Hunter-themed charms, emotes, decals, and communication wheel stamps.

Rathalos, however, won’t be the only new boss that players will face in Season 3, as they’ll also be able to go up against a rampaging Neo Triceratops. “This massive creature has grown and mutated to gain unnatural strength,” says Capcom. “It can strike foes from a distance by shooting out spikes and has the power to enlarge its horns when charging into melee. Exofighters will need to work together under a respawn limit to overcome this fearsome new opponent.”

The upcoming season will also introduce a new jungle map and four beta variant Exosuits for each of the four playable Exofighters, each of which offers new weapons and playstyles that sets them apart from the existing Standard and Alpha Exosuit variants.
