Fate/Grand Order, and the Case of the Disappearing Craft Essences

Fate/Grand Order has had a shaky London launch, to say the least. The Fourth Singularity, where players finally meet the true "big bad" of the story, has been a much-awaited addition to the main saga of F/GO. However, it was not without its bugs.

Roughly twelve hours after Fate/Grand Order launched, players in the mobile game noticed that various items from their inventories were disappearing. Specifically, "Craft Essences," items that players can equip to their Servants that give them a bonus in stats and special effects, were disappearing out of their inventories. The servers quickly went down at 00:37 AM UTC, on December 20th, where they would not come back up until 11:30 AM UTC, the same day.

However, even now, many players still find themselves unable to access Fate/Grand Order - specifically, those who were affected by the bug. Players are locked out of their accounts, not knowing when they'll be able to play the game.

This bug has reared its ugly head in the Japanese version of Fate/Grand Order before, where players found their inventory of Craft Essences wiped out. Ultimately, JP players found their inventory returned, as well as a hefty amount of Apology Saint Quartz - better known as "Apologems," given out whenever the game goes down for unscheduled maintenence.

All players are confirmed to received at least 10 Apologems. Whether or not players who have been locked out of their accounts will receive more is unclear.
