Fate/Grand Order Guaranteed 5 Star Grand Summon

newyears3

Fate/Grand Order looks to thank their paying customers with a controversial new Grand Summon. The Summon can only be used once and guarantees one of the following Super Super Rare 5★ Servants.

  • Artoria Pendragon (Saber)
  • Mordred (Saber)
  • Atilla (Saber)
  • Okita (Saber)
  • Tamamo no Mae (Caster)
  • El Melloi II (Caster)
  • Vlad the 3rd (Berserker)
  • Francis Drake (Rider)
  • Artemis & Orion (Archer)
  • Jack the Ripper (Assassin)
  • Jeanne D'Arc (Ruler)

Players must used PAID Quartz in order to roll this, which has caused quite a controversy on the Reddit and 4chan communities—and the paid Quartz does not even include bonus Quartz you obtain from purchasing. The Grand Summon checks if you have an appropriate paid Quartz, which distinguishes it from free and bonus Quartz. You'll need a minimum of 40 to be able to roll, which includes a standard 10 roll with a forced 5★ Servant.

The minimum purchase for this is the 42 Quartz + 23 Bonus which costs 4,800 Yen which equates to about 40 USD. Since the rates of normally obtaining a 5★ is 1%, this Grand Summon is definitely worth it for paying customers. Afterwards you'll want to roll the special Grand Summon that can only be rolled once.

There has been much criticism as to why they wouldn't just let you pick a free 5★ after rolling to make sure you obtain a Servant that you need, since it would feel bad despite it being a Bonus Campaign to receive a Servant that has weak duplicate upgrades.
