Final Fantasy XI’s Voracious Resurgence Storyline Is Coming To An End In May
Back in January, Final Fantasy XI’s Game Director Yoji Fujito announced that the Voracious Resurgence narrative was finally coming to a “thrilling conclusion” this year. And so it shall come to pass. The next major update for the 20-year old fantasy MMORPG will bring the 11th and final chapter to the story arc that began three years ago after Square Enix announced that it was no longer going to get major updates, let alone a new storyline.
The next chapter is set to arrive in May and will also introduce various game improvements such as updates to the chat filter system, Sortie instance reservations, and a new monthly Ambuscade rotation. Meanwhile, there’s a new set of login rewards for you to purchase using your accumulated login points.
