Final Fantasy XIV Shows Off New Patch 4.2 Gear, Hairstyles, & More!

With what is probably the final update before Final Fantasy XIV's upcoming patch, Patch 4.2, Square Enix has sent out press materials with new gear that'll come in Patch 4.2, new hairstyles, upcoming armor, and more!

Above, we have pictures of the new Tomestones of Mendacity gear, which will be Item Level 360 to start with - quite the boost over the current item level 340 gear. However, also coming with the new Tomestone of Mendacity gear, is Sigmascape.

We can see what is likely Kefka's mask floating off in the distance, in one of Omega's "eggs," as well as a semi-ominous eyeball.

The ancient and enigmatic weapon Omega is poised to advance its "experiment" to the next stage. The "Sigmascape" awaits! Can the Warrior of Light conquer the formidable subjects lurking within this new test world?

Above we can see the new raid gear coming with Sigmascape. It will be Item Level 350 to start, and the (Savage) version of Sigmascape will drop dyeable Item Level 370 gear, as well as Item Level 375 weapons from Sigmascape - v4.0 (Savage)
