Guild Wars 2 Expansion Path of Fire Is Now Live

The second expansion to Guild Wars 2 titled "Path of Fire" is officially live. It comes just 2 months after the end of Living World Season 3 and just in time for the game's 5th anniversary. The game is available for purchase both digitally and at brick and mortar game stores for $29.99 (Deluxe: $54.99, and Ultimate $79.99). The expansion features new mounts, 9 elite specializations for each class, new areas, bosses, and much more. Anyone who purchases Path of Fire gets a free level 80 leveled boost as well as some starting gear and coin to jump start their journey into Path of Fire.

ArenaNet also released some neat statistics about the game. Since launch in 2012, Guild Wars 2 has attracted over 11 million players globally who have created over 53 million characters.
