Last Oasis Starts Beta Testing Its Game-Changing Season 5 Update Next Week
Donkey Crew has yet to answer the question of when Last Oasis’ big Season 5 update is coming out but they have set a date for the start of beta testing. Season 5 testing is scheduled to kick off on July 5th and will be open to everyone to allow the team to properly stress test the build and gather as much feedback as possible.
“With so many changes comes a pretty big possibility of many of them ruining what we expect to be a pretty good impression of this update and what’s to come, so getting those out of the way early is what this internal testing has been for,” said Donkey Crew. “Many of the new features and changed mechanics need a much larger amount of players for us to get proper feedback on how they add to the game, what kind of tweaks we need to make, etc.”
While the studio is still silent on the exact date of Season 5’s release, it reveals that the season will be treated the same way as an Early Access build and will continue to be tweaked, updated, and changed throughout its duration. To participate in the beta test, simply switch over to the separate beta branch on Steam.
