Compete With Your Friends In Marvel Snap’s New Non-Ranked Battle Mode

Ben Brode and his team have finally rolled out one of the most-requested features in Marvel Snap – the ability to challenge your friends to one-on-one battles. The new non-ranked Battle Mode arrived with yesterday’s update, allowing players to compete with their friends in “ultra-competitive” matches over multiple rounds using just one deck.

Each player starts the match with 10 points of health with each match playing out like traditional collectible card game matches. The first player to lose all their health points loses the match. Battle Mode matches are expected to run for roughly 20 minutes and will have “high stakes” rounds thrown in every few matches.

“Further, each player’s deck is locked for the duration of the battle,” said developer Second Dinner. “This means you’ll quickly learn what cards are in their deck, and your opponent might be aware of what sneaky tricks you’re hiding. Keeping track of what cards in your deck haven’t been seen by your opponent can make all the difference in whether you can squeeze out an extra snap.”

The latest update also introduces balance tweaks to the Leader, Wolverine, and Sentry cards, along with a long list of bug fixes. You can check out the full patch notes on the Marvel Snap official site.
