Symbiotes Star In Marvel Snap’s New “We Are Venom” Season
Marvel Snap is getting a dose of symbiotic chaos with its latest season, “We Are Venom.” The new season not only paves the way for the premiere of a new Venom movie but also adds more bite to the deck-building battler with symbiote characters like Agent Venom, Scream, and Toxin taking the spotlight.
Marvel Snap, developed by Second Dinner, has been on a winning streak since its launch in 2022. The card-based battler set in the Marvel universe is easy to pick up but surprisingly deep, offering quick matches where strategy is key.
At the heart of the season is the new Season Pass character, Agent Venom. A 2/4 card, Agent Venom’s On Reveal ability sets the Power of all cards in your deck to 4. It's a game-changer for players running deck archetypes like Cerebro or Bounce, allowing for some truly venomous combos. Alongside Agent Venom, you'll find other symbiotes slithering into your deck, including Scream, Misery, Scorn, and Anti-Venom.
Second Dinner is also introducing a new limited-time mode, High Voltage, which amps up the gameplay by cutting match lengths to just three turns. With no Snapping and both players drawing two cards each turn, High Voltage is set to electrify matches, making for quick, high-energy rounds. Expect more frantic decisions and some truly shocking plays (pun absolutely intended).
Symbiotes and high-voltage chaos—what’s not to love? This season promises more fast-paced, strategic fun as players get to experiment with new combos and dominate the battlefield, all while paying homage to one of Marvel’s most iconic anti-heroes.
