Spawn of Vyranoth and Six Weeks of Timewalking Await in WoW's Turbulent Timeways V
Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft - subscription-based, PC and Mac - has the fifth iteration of Turbulent Timeways running now in patch 12.0.7, with Battle for Azeroth Timewalking active this week as part of a six-week rotation that runs through August 11.
The headline reward for the season is the Spawn of Vyranoth, a frost-spiked mount modeled after the one Primalist who didn't end up as an endgame boss. Players earn it by completing Master of the Turbulent Timeways V, which requires hitting the Mastery of the Timeways buff - earned by running four Timewalking dungeons in a single week - during any four of the six available weeks. The weeks don't need to be consecutive, so skipping an expansion's pool entirely remains an option for those with strong opinions about Classic dungeons.

Full Six-Week Schedule
- Week 1 (and Week 6) - Dragonflight: Brackenhide Hollow, The Azure Vaults, Ruby Life Pools, Halls of Infusion, Neltharus, Algeth'ar Academy
- Week 2 - Battle for Azeroth: Atal'Dazar, Freehold, King's Rest, Shrine of the Storm, Temple of Sethraliss, Waycrest Manor
- Week 3 - Shadowlands: De Other Side, Halls of Atonement, Necrotic Wake, Plaguefall, Sanguine Depths, Spires of Ascension
- Week 4 - Classic: The Deadmines, Zul'Farrak, Dire Maul East, Dire Maul West, Stratholme Main Gate, Stratholme Service Entrance; Raid: Blackrock Depths (Anniversary edition)
- Week 5 - The Burning Crusade: Blood Furnace, Botanica, Magisters' Terrace, Mana-Tombs, Shattered Halls, Underbog; Raid: Black Temple (500 Timewarped Badges, no Mastery credit)
Dragonflight Timewalking is new to the rotation this season, bookending the event in weeks one and six. A new vendor, Xydan, has appeared in the Bronze Enclave in Valdrakken carrying the Liquid Hot Magma Slug mount, previously retired Turbulent Timeways rewards like the Timely Buzzbee, and the standard spread of toys, pets, and starter gear. Reputation tokens and a rep buff tied to each expansion's relevant factions are also available during their respective weeks - useful for anyone still working through old Renown tracks.

Turbulent Timeways has settled into a reliable catch-up rhythm across WoW's recent patch cadence - the kind of event that rewards alts, badge stockpilers, and mount collectors without demanding much from players already locked into current endgame. With Dragonflight content now cycling into Timewalking, the rotation has a fresher feel than prior seasons. Patch 12.0.7 in the Midnight expansion cycle has otherwise been a lighter content update, making Turbulent Timeways the main reason to log in for a broad slice of the playerbase through the August 11 close.
