Mortal Online 2 New Year Poll Reveals Need For Combat Polish And New Dungeons

The Mortal Online 2 dev team is taking a fresh approach to its roadmap this year by asking players exactly what they want to see with a poll earlier this month. The results are now in, offering insight into which aspects of the game the community feels should be a priority for developers Star Vault.

The studio posted the poll results on Discord, listing the top ten things that players want to see in the sandbox MMORPG. In order of importance, that includes combat polish, a new dungeon, additional character slots, new points-of-interest, new creatures, new armor sets, new combat abilities, new mounts, new weapons, and a veteran system.

The team also started a follow-up poll to help narrow everything down into something more manageable. The poll asks the community what type of weapon and armor set they’d like to be added into the game, whether they’d prefer a new mob or a new mount, and which existing creature could potentially make for a good rideable mount.

Star Vault CEO Henrik Nystrom also discussed the poll results during his latest Twitch livestream earlier this week. He also touched on additional plans for the game outside of the poll results. Those include a revamp to the Haven and plans to eventually give the general public free access to the starting zone.

Players can also look forward to the addition of an armored horse mount and combat tweaks in next week’s update, as well as multiple dungeons coming in the future. If you’ve got time to kill, you can watch the entire hour-and-a-half stream below.
