Mortal Online 2 Is Inviting Players To A Massive Battle To Stress Test The Servers
A big battle is brewing in Mortal Online 2 and Star Vault is cordially inviting everyone to join the fight. The battle will take place on October 6th at 12 p.m. PDT just outside of Meduli and will serve as a stress test to see how the servers will handle a large number of players fighting in one location ahead of the release of large-scale wars and siege battles.
Star Vault hopes to have as close to 400 players as possible participating in the battle regardless of their PvP experience. Since Mortal Online 2 features full-loot PvP, those who don’t want to lose their gear are advised to show up in a basic gear set or even their birthday suit since simply joining the fight or being in the area during the test should be enough to provide the team with the data that they need.
“As the most important part of this test is having a high volume of players in one location and gathering the server performance and load data with our profiling tools, feel free to come without any armor or weapons if you don’t want to risk anything,” the studio said. “Simply showing up will help us a lot.”
The massive battle will be aired live during Star Vault’s next developer livestream where CEO Henrik Nystrom will also be answering questions from the community and giving away Steam keys.
