Mortal Online 2 Rolls Out A Massive Balance Patch On The Steam Beta Branch
Don’t you just hate it when your opponent in Mortal Online 2 would rather cower behind their shield as you pummel them with blows for what seems like forever. The good news is that you’ll no longer find yourself in that situation when the next balance rolls out. If you’re the cowering shield-user, enjoy it while it lasts my friend as each blocked blow will soon drain your stamina until you’re finally forced to exchange blows with your opponent.
The stamina penalty is just part of a wider range of upcoming balance changes coming to shields, but is currently the only one in actual testing on the beta branch on Steam. Other notable changes included in the beta build include an update to Supply Lines that allows guilds to receive the maximum 20% boost to guild defense regardless of how many Supply Lines they control. Additional guild defense balance changes will also be introduced in a future update.
To participate in the beta test, all you have to do is opt into the beta program via your Steam library and install the beta client. The beefy beta release notes offers a full rundown of the extensive list of changes if you want to dive into the details.
