Mu Origin Disables Downloads And IAPs As It Prepares To Shut Down In March
Mobile MMORPG Mu Origin will be closing its doors in just a few short months after nearly six years of live operation in the west.
“It has been over 5 years that we have traveled the MU continent with you. We are truly sorrowful to announce you that our long journey with MU Origin has to end,” announced publisher Webzen. “We have tried our best to produce a nicer game play environment for you, however we have concluded that we cannot keep providing the service any longer at current state. We are very sad but had to decide to terminate the service of MU Origin.”
The game is no longer available for purchase and all in-app purchases have been disabled as of today but the servers will continue to run until March 31st. Unfortunately, Webzen says that no refunds will be given for any purchases made.
