mu-origin-keyart-bannerWebzen’s mobile MU spin-off MU Origin gets a bunch of new PvP content with the release of Update 13.0 today, including a PvP survival instance called Genesis War which rewards players with Mount Seals that can be used to upgrade their mounts.

“In the new update, MU Origin will be presenting warriors with a new survival feature, Genesis War. Players over Reverse level 30 can experience the real-time PvP content, which consists of five floors. On each floor, you can fight and kill other players to earn points. Players will be able to move onto the next floor once they reach the designated kill count on each floor. The more you survive, the more you will be rewarded with special and exclusive gifts.”

Additionally, guilds level 4 and up can now try the new Ruins Assault, where guilds take on bosses in order to advance to the next floor. The guild that deals the most damage to bosses will be declared the winner. Participants will also get Hero Runes that they can use to make their characters stronger.

Last but not the least, is the new seasonal clan-based battle called Dark Cave. Clan Points will be rewarded for winning a battle and deducted for losing. Clan Points can be exchanged for a variety of daily and seasonal rewards.

The update also comes with a higher level cap, the Reverse Stone unequip function, additional Soulgem Inventory slots, and other game improvements.
