It's the 25th of January and MU: Origin's Closed Beta has arrived. "Thousands [of] selected testers who signed up for the early access" can now access the fully localized game via servers set up in the US East, US West, and Europe regions. All three classes—Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, and Elf—are available to choose from. All of the game's modes—Story Dungeon, Party Dungeon, Daily Dungeon, Endless Tower, and PvP Arena—can be played.

With the launch of the Closed Beta, Webzen have revealed four of the game's daily events—Devil Square, Blood Castle, Angel Temple, and Chaos Castle—each of which will be running at different times during the test. The difficulty of each event will scale to the player's level. Additionally, "a number of valuable items" will drop from the World Boss, a "tremendous amount" of Zen can be obtained from the Golden Forces, and EXP rates will be raised to 8x in the Colosseum.

The Closed Beta test will end on February 1st at which point all progress will be wiped. Should you want to take part, you can still sign up on the official website. The full Android launch is scheduled for "spring 2016," with an iOS launch planned for an unspecified time.

Update: A representative from Webzen has confirmed that only those selected will be able to play. Invites will be sent out every day or two. The game will be IP blocked for everyone outside of the United States and Europe.
