Inflexion Games offers Nightingale fans an update on what’s going on with the upcoming Victorian Gaslamp multiplayer survival title in their latest monthly developer vlog.

The video starts off with an explanation for the early access launch delay. The team acknowledged that they’ve pushed back the game’s release a few times already but that they’re using the extra time to squash bugs and improve quality-of-life to better meet player expectations.

Inflexion also maintained their commitment to ensuring that the game has a solid foundation at launch, which they can then build on later. “Even though February will still be an early access launch, we only get one public launch,” the studio said. “So that first impression is super important to us.”

The team also talked about the August playtest, shared some stats from the test, and confirmed ongoing work to improve the tutorial and gameplay progression. They also shared plans to streamline the crafting bench, improve performance, make late-game activities more rewarding, and refine playtest friend referrals.
