A New Beginning Awaits In Nightingale’s Massive Realm Rebuilt Update
Nightingale is about to get a grand makeover! The highly anticipated Realms Rebuilt update swoops in on September 12th, bringing a massive overhaul that will reshape every Realmwalker’s experience as they journey through the Fae Realms to seek sanctuary in the titular last bastion of humanity.
As the update title suggests, Realms Rebuilt will revamp the Victorian-styled shared-world RPG’s core gameplay, with Storied Realms taking center stage. These handcrafted realms offer a more structured experience, complete with a brand-new campaign. Craving the thrill of the unknown? The procedural-generated Untamed Realms will still be available, offering endless possibilities for discovery.
Players will also be able to unleash their inner architects with a massive boost to build limits thanks to various backend tweaks and adjustments. This resulted in a whopping 80% reduction in structural data that needed to be processed. Now you can construct even more elaborate structures without pesky limitations cramping your style and giving you more freedom to design your dream base.
Realms Rebuilt will also introduce eight brand new pets, and you can even bring more than one on your expeditions! Charms are also getting a boost, offering an expanded arsenal of skills and abilities. Plus, the all-new Glamour Station will let you express your unique style for all of the Fae Realms to see. Want your trusty pickaxe to match your dazzling armor? The Glamour Station will make it happen!
With such a significant update comes a chance to begin anew. Realms Rebuilt will require a complete server and character progression reset, placing everyone on a level playing field for the new chapter in Nightingale’s development. Inflexion Games, however, will offer a way to download your save file and continue playing in a legacy branch, albeit one that won’t receive future updates.
