Nightingale Shows Off Its Sun Giants And Why You Shouldn’t Mess With Them

Inflexion Games continues to show off what’s in store for players when Nightingale launches next year with a series of YouTube shorts that highlight the upcoming survival sandbox title’s features. These include everything from the game’s fantastical Victorian Gaslamp setting to player houses and the promised third-person mode.

The most recent of these YouTube shorts showcases the Sun Giants, a sort-of-friendly race of giants inhabiting the desert realms in the game. “They are mostly peaceful and curious beings wandering the deserts in search of things they can gather,” the studio said. “You can choose to offer them items. Some they make like… and others they may not.”

If you’re skilled enough, you can also choose to fight them but be prepared for a challenge as these guys aren’t only big enough to squash you like a bug, they can also apparently wield magic. You can check them out in the teaser video below.

Meanwhile, Nightingale is still on track for release in February 2024 with no delays in sight, at least for the time being.
