The end is drawing near for Pathfinder Online and developer Paizo is starting to wind down operations by turning off all online and in-game purchases, including subscriptions. Active characters will remain playable without using up game time until the servers go offline while Inactive characters can be reactivated using existing game time or game time obtained in exchange for Azoth.

Players who want to activate a character but don’t have available game time or Azoth, or those who want to transfer game time to another account are advised to contact customer.support@pathfinderonline.com to work something out with the devs.

“For those of you who have extra game months left on any of your accounts and no Inactive characters on those accounts you'd like to activate, we can help you use those months up by either transferring them to another account with characters you'd like to activate or by exchanging them for boxes of Azoth,” said Paizo. “No ‘wishing for wishes’ on that last offer though, we won't exchange game months obtained using Azoth for more Azoth.”

Pathfinder Online will officially be shutting down on November 28th, although there’s a small possibility that it will happen before the announced date. More information can be found on the Pathfinder Online official site.
