RIFT Is Celebrating Its Fifth Anniversary

Having originally launched in March of 2011, RIFT has officially reached the five year milestone. Given the number of shutdowns and cancellations we've seen in the past year or so, it's nice to be reminded that some games do continue to survive and thrive. As one of the games that is continuing on, RIFT is celebrating with a massive event with several prizes.

From now until April 5th, players can obtain 5th Anniversary Tickets from completing "zone events, random dungeons and Warfronts, and weekly crafting quests." The more they earn, the more prizes they earn. Some of the prizes up for grabs are a Mystical Carousel Ram, Tier 3 raid gear, and 46 capes—"one for each soul."

Throughout the event, a leaderboard will be running on Enjin. Each week, the top 100 players on the leaderboard will be given prizes, including anything from "every premium mount ever released as part of a trove or supply crate" to five years of Patron status. In all

As an added bonus, Trion revealed that RIFT has earned "hundreds of millions in revenue." Players have collectively spent 50,000 years in-game.
