Riot Games is in for a changing of the guard, as Nicolo Laurent will be stepping down as CEO with A. Dylan Jadeja poised to take his place. While this may sound like a major shake-up, it’s worth noting that Jadeja is currently the studio’s global president, so it's more of a lateral move. Laurent will remain with Riot as an advisor, so he’s not completely out of the picture.

In a joint letter to the community and Riot team, both Laurent and Jadeja outlined their visions for the company moving forward. Laurent expressed his excitement for spending more time with his family, while Jadeja declared his dedication to improving the company, albeit with his own unique approach.

It remains to be seen exactly what changes, if any, Jadeja will implement at Riot. It’s possible that we’ll see a shift in company culture or new initiatives that reflect his leadership style. Alternatively, he may just keep things running as they have been. Regardless, it’s good to know that Riot will have a steady hand at the helm, with Laurents’ experience still available in an advisory capacity.
