Secret World Legends clarifies "HeadStart," offers more information on weapons

Yesterday, we published an article regarding how Secret World Legends had announced a "HeadStart" where players can play the game three days early, starting June 23rd, instead of the official launch of June 26th. More details are out today, and...there's fine print. Quite a lot of it, too.

Starting today, invites are going out for a Secret World Legends beta. This beta is not an early access, nor is it the HeadStart, as Funcom took to Twitter to socialize and explain more information. Players who have had their account be in good standing (Have logged onto The Secret World in the past 30 days) will have the chance to play the new Secret World Legends. However, all beta characters will be deleted, and the NDA is still active - don't expect much new information to come out during this beta.

Funcom has also given us a preview into the new weapons we can look forward to using in Secret World Legends. Blades, Chaos Magic, Hammers, Blood Magic, and Fists are just some of the ways you'll be able to take down your enemies.

Remember, Secret World Legends will be out in full this June 26th.
