The Quinfall developer Vawraek Technology has answered some pressing questions about what it’s promising to be “the biggest MMORPG universe” in a new gameplay and Q&A video. Key topics covered during the Q&A include the game’s business model, beta testing and early access, PvE and PvP gameplay, and professions.

On the subject of monetization, Vawraek says that the game will be buy-to-play with microtransactions but didn’t reveal how much the game will cost. The cash shop will use premium currency called V Coins which will only be available for purchase on Steam to ensure player safety and privacy. The studio also maintains that they won’t be selling pay-to-win items of any kind.

The studio also confirmed that those who’ll be participating in the upcoming beta tests will have unrestricted access to the full 1,600 square kilometer game world with no restrictions. The same will also apply to the early access build. The game will feature separate PvE and PvP channels that will come in different “flavors.”

Players will be able to freely switch between the different channels which will include a free-for-all PvP channel with no death penalties, a mixed PvE and PvP channel, and a PvE-exclusive channel with slightly less efficient life skills.

The Quinfall will feature 16 different professions, each with 20 grade levels for players to earn. Professions will range from the more traditional MMORPG professions, like fishing, farming, and blacksmithing, to unique ones like work-for-hire and transporter. Profession efficiency and progression will also apparently be affected by the game’s three seasons: summer, autumn, and winter.

Vawraek also walked back on its earlier plans to hold paid closed beta tests. Beta tests, the first of which kicked off yesterday, will now be free of charge but will require an invite. The studio is planning to hold two more beta tests ahead of the game’s early access launch.

You can check out the full Q&A video below interspersed with clips of actual in-game footage from the ambitious MMORPG. It’s in Turkish, but that’s what closed captions are for.
