The RuneScape NXT Client Is In Closed Beta This Weekend

The release of RuneScape's NXT client draws ever nearer as Jagex allows select users access to a round of Closed Beta testing this weekend. Testing closes on Monday, so users uninterested in testing will only be getting a sneak peek.

The NXT client is looking to give RuneScape yet another makeover with improved lighting, water, and performance, among other changes. Players will also be able to "see farther into the distance" with the new client while retaining better performance.
