Total War: Warhammer 3’s Champions Of Chaos DLC Launches Alongside Immortal Empires
Last week, Creative Assembly finally announced the release date for Total War: Warhammer 3’s massive Immortal Empires DLC expansion alongside footage that briefly showed four new factions for the Chaos race. Whether it was by accident or on purpose, the leak has set the Warhammer community abuzz with questions on when the new factions will be coming out. Apparently they’ll be coming out alongside the expansion beta on August 23rd as part of the Champions of Chaos DLC.
But wait, there’s more! The Blood for the Blood God DLC will also be launching on the same day as the expansion and the new Chaos factions DLC for a colossal trio of a release. The Blood for the Blood God DLC adds blood, gore, and dismemberment visual effects that have been removed from the multiplayer real-time strategy game to get a 12+ age rating. The DLC is entirely optional, but for those who prefer to fight bloody battles, you can get it for free if you already own the blood pack DLC for any of the previous Total War: Warhammer games.
As for the Champions of Chaos, the DLC will come with four new Legendary Lords for the Warriors of Chaos. These include Azazel the Prince of Damnation and his Ecstatic Legion, Festus the Leechlord and his Fecundites, Valkia the Bloody and the Legion of the Gorequeen, and Vilitch the Curseling and Thomin, commanders of the Puppets of Misrule.
