Following a small delay caused by "some issues with the localization," InselGames announced today that Trinium Wars will be launching on Steam Early Access on March 2nd. In preparation of the imminent launch, new details about the game's Resource War mode have been unveiled.

The Resource War will be available 24/7. Up to 1000 players can take part on the game's "persistent map" Inuz. Here, the Humans and Narc will be tasked with capturing and holding mines and "important junctions" that are defended by high level mobs. Once mines are captured, you can begin mining Trinium and transporting it. The transport trucks can be attacked at any point along the way and must be defended if players want to successfully gather the Trinium they have mined. Due to the fact that it runs 24/7, the team that has less players at any one time will be granted "NPC troops and small buffs" to even the playing field.

When you kill someone during a Resource War, you are awarded Battle Points that you can exchange for helicopters, robots, and tanks. These can be used to turn the tides of battle in your favor.

Due to the fact that the Resource War requires a high enough population of players that are level 30 or higher, it will not be present at the Early Access launch. Instead, it will be added to the game shortly after Early Access begins and enough players have had the chance to reach level 30.
