World of Fishing publisher InselGames is launching another MMORPG called Trinium Wars onto Steam Early Access on February 17th. Trinium Wars is a sci-fi MMORPG featuring Human and Narc race choices, a player-driven economy, instanced dungeons that allow you to operate helicopters, mechs, and tanks, MOBA-like arena PvP, browser strategy game-like base building mechanics, and 1000-player Resource Wars. It is a project headed by the former lead artist of Diablo III, Jang Wook Lee, at Hanmaru Soft.

Trinium Wars is expected to be in Early Access for four to six months. At this point, it is said to be feature complete. Early Access is meant to help with bug testing and balancing. The final product will be influenced by community feedback and they are committed to not rushing the game's release.

Unfortunately, the final business model has not been decided yet. The game was built "developed with an Item Mall," but whether it will be free-to-play or buy-to-play has yet to be decided. However, the team notes that the Early Access pack will give players some starter items and "additional in-game currency at a great discount." Whether this means they will be giving players extra currency that can be earned in-game as a thank you or a premium currency is not yet known.
