Koei Tecmo’s seafaring MMORPG Uncharted Waters Online has been in live service for over a decade now but we’ve never really seen an actual trailer for the game on YouTube… until today. Papaya Play, the game’s current publisher in North America and Europe, has just found time to update the game’s YouTube channel with its first-ever video content.

For those who haven’t heard of the game, Uncharted Waters Online is an open world sandbox MMORPG set during the “Age of Discovery”. Players have access to hundreds of customizable sailing ships that they can use to battle other ships or transport and trade goods between various locations within a massive game world based on real-world geography.

The game officially launched in October 2010 with Netmarble as publisher. Publishing rights were later transferred to OGPlanet in 2013 and finally to Papaya Play in 2017.

The new YouTube video below should give you a good idea of what the game is all about. The game is also free-to-play on Steam if you want to check it out.
