Valheim VR Mod Takes Immersion In The Tenth World To The Next Level

Viking survivalists can now experience Valheim in virtual reality thanks to the Brandon “manicmoose99” Mousseau’s VHVR mod. The mod allows players to journey through Viking purgatory in full stereoscopic 3D using OpenVR and SteamVR. Players will still have to use a mouse and keyboard to control their characters while motion controls are still in the works, but who’s complaining?

VHVR is still a work-in-progress and users will need to follow specific instructions to get it to work. Motion controls are not yet available aside from a few limited-function UI interactions. First-person view is enabled by default but players can also zoom out to a third-person overhead view if they need a better angle when placing objects or building.
