After the highly anticipated arrival of the Ashlands biome a few months back, Valheim fans are eagerly awaiting the next big update for the Viking-themed multiplayer survival sandbox game. Fortunately, it looks like players and fans alike won’t have to wait for over a year before the next one arrives.

In a recent dev blog, Iron Gate teased that a new update is in the works and is scheduled for release this fall. While they didn’t reveal all the details, they did say that it will include a significant overhaul of Hildir's camp and various improvements to the system. The studio also hinted at something new brewing in the Swamps for those who can’t wait to return to the infamous zone.

“We’re of course starting to look beyond the Ashlands and towards the future, and we’re working on a little something that will be with you during the fall…,” Iron Gate teased. “We won’t reveal all that it entails yet, but it will include some overhaul and corrections of Hildir’s wares and her camp.”

As for the latest patch, it's packed with a ton of fixes and improvements. From tweaks to flametal mining and enemy spawn rates to changes to build pieces and cooking. It’s a relatively beefy update that has something for everyone, the details of which can be found in the full patch notes here.
