Warframe's Sands Of Inaros Update Adds A New Warframe And More

Warframe's first major update, Sands of Inaros, adds a new, "mummy-themed" Warframe, a new mission, and more. The new Warframe is called Inaros. Inaros' Dessication ability sends waves of "cursed sand" at enemies to blind and steal health from them. Devour pulls enemies into quicksand and steals health. Sandstorm causes Inaros to whirl around and send enemies flying. It also devours enemies that are stuck in quicksand, turning them into allied Sand Shadows. Scarab Swarm creates "hardened scarab armor" that can be turned into a swarm of scarabs that attacks enemies and gives their health to allies.

Ship Sabotage missions have "received a total overhaul." Dubbed "Reactor Sabotage 2.0," the new mission features mission objectives that change based on the way your squad plays. The new objectives are designed to create "unique environmental hazards" and "varying extraction goals," depending on if you go in guns blazing or take a stealthier approach, among other options. Six new tiles have been added to both the Grineer and Corpus tile sets alongside the mission overhaul.

Additionally, the Orkin Moon now has "Defense, Spy, and Capture Missions," 20 new tiles, and various improvements—focusing on "graphical and lighting adjustments"—to old tile sets. New weapons and cosmetics are available. Warframe's chat system now features Emoji, allowing players to "express [themselves]" in-game more easily.
