World Of Warcraft Revives The Past With "Timewalking"

Have you ever played an MMO and felt a sense of nostalgia thinking back of the good old days?  Or thought:  "Those raids were great times... and great fun."  Well you're in luck!

Blizzard Entertainment has released a preview for "Timewalking weekend" events in which players will be able to re-live epic battles from the past, facing old raids at their previous strength.   Players will find all of their skills intact, but will have their gear scaled down to get a real feel of accomplishment that has been long gone.

A few of the dungeons announced in the lineup:  Black Morass, The Slave Pens, The Nexus, Utgarde Pinnacle, Mana-Tombs and Ahn'kahet.

Not only will the difficulty match, but the prizes will as well--  so will the gear you pick up!   Looting gear during this time scales it up to a level appropriate to your own... now that's glory.
