Zenith Dives Into Might And Mastery’s Skill Tree Revamp And New Leaderboards

Ramen VR continues to talk up Zenith’s upcoming skill system revamp which will be making its way to the VR MMORPG as part of its Might and Mastery update. The update will introduce individual branches and ability nodes, essentially transforming the existing skill system into a skill tree that will give players more freedom and control over their respective builds.

The new skill tree will come with a respect option and visual cues when a godstone ability is unlocked. Players will also be able try out godstone abilities befor inserting them into a slot to allow them to make more informed choices. Existing characters will automatically be converted into the new skill system and will be granted appropriate skill points based on their level. Any unique modifiers collected prior to the update’s release will carry over to the new system.

“All the Godstones you possess, regardless of their rarity, will have their accumulated XP combined and converted into skill points for the new system,” Ramen VR explained. “[…] Any Unique modifiers you have collected will be directly carried over to the new system as epic Augments. Augment slots, and Augment drops become available once you max out the skill points for an ability.”

The update will also introduce a leaderboard that will track various statistics such as the most boss kills, the fastest boss kills, and most creatures killed, among others. It will also include new main story quests as well as adjustments to main story XP gains, increased drop rates for several materials, and an enemy balance pass.

Might and Mastery is currently in open beta testing with an exclusive title up for grabs to those who participate in the open beta for at least two hours.
