EvilBane: Reboot Overview

EvilBane: Reboot, previously called EvilBane: Rise of the Ravens was a mobile action MMO where players take the role of a disciple of Dominion, a famous warrior who suspects the current era of peace is nearing its end. Attacked by Lucifer while visiting the queen, the player must afterwards travel far and wide across the land on their quest for peace and vengeance. Control one of three characters: Luke, a balanced hero, Khara, an agile assassin, or Vango, a slow and powerful brute, and freely swap between them during the game's campaign to evenly level each one. Take on a variety of dungeons and discover powerful raid bosses to fight as a group, collecting thousands of loot drops which can be upgraded, combined, and limit broken to increase battle rating. Players can also enter the game's arenas or guild vs. guild battles for a challenge, fighting for the top spots on the ranking board.

Development History / Background:

EvilBane: Reboot, previously known as EvilBane: Rise of the Ravens, is developed and published by Netmarble, a fast-growing mobile game company located in South Korea that consistently ranks as a top mobile developer and publisher worldwide, known for its games Sudden Attack and GunZ: The Duel. EvilBane: Reboot was initially released for a South Korean audience with the title Raven (레이븐), teased by an impressive cinematic trailer in December 2014 that promised a console-quality game experience. It was released on May 12, 2015 and immediately topped the charts on the Korean iOS and Android app stores. They decided to release it globally by the next year under a new name, EvilBane: Reboot, opening a pre-registration on March 14, 2016 that allowed players who signed up to get bonus items when the game released. The game was set to release on April 7, 2016, and appeared a day early on the app stores on April 6, 2016. The game was shut down on April 13, 2018.
