The game's combat is turn-based, allowing members of a team to perform a limited amount of actions within the duration of their timed turn, including moving across the field, activating a skill, using an item, or attacking an enemy. Only one character can be played at a time, but most resources are shared so characters can be developed alongside each other as the player gains more experience in the game's battles. Experience is not shared, but idle characters can be sent on quests to attain additional experience or resources while you play your favorite character. The game also offers a variety of social features that include a game-wide chat, player-run clans, PvP tournaments, and more.

Development History / Background:
Gunslingers is developed and published by webgames, a Russian game developer founded in 2009, notable for its games Gone Fishing, Ghost Tales, and Myth, and primarily developing socially-oriented games for Facebook. Gunslingers was originally released on Facebook on January 29, 2015 where it has over 20,000+ monthly users. Its developers decided that the spirit of the game was closer to the games seen on Steam, so they decided to port it to Steam using its Early Access feature to test game stability and to implement Steam features such as achievements. Gunslingers was released into Early Access on December 17, 2015, and its developers stated that it would stay in Early Access for no longer than a month until its full Steam release.
