Horizon Source Overview
Horizon Source is a Chinese developed shooter available on Steam that offers a quick, if not totally original, take on the Battle Royale genre. Players chose from several heros, each with unique abilities and weapons, then take part in 100-person Battle Royale matches. Each round is action packed thanks to the addition of dozens of bots per match. Horizon Source supports up to 4 players per team, and boasts a leaderboard so players can keep track of their performance.

Horizon Source is a Chinese developed Battle Royale shooter that saw an English version released on Steam on March 20, 2018. The game combines the building mechanics found in Fortnite with the more realistic aesthetic of PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds. Despite being a PC title, Horizon Source often looks and plays like a mobile title. Matches are fast paced and filled with low-skill bots that swarm towards players. The game has found a niche audience on Steam and competes with other budget Battle Royale games like Last Man Standing. The North American and European service for Horizon Source and The Ark of Horizon were shut down on May 12, 2019.
