Legend of Ares is a 3D free-to-play fantasy MMORPG developed by MGame and re-published by Reforgix / RedFox Games, originally available through the NetGame portal before the game's shutdown in 2009. Enter a world torn apart by the war between Ares and Athena, backed by the game's two factions in war for domination over the world. The game offers four playable classes that include Gladiator, Paladin, Archer, and Sorcerer, and the two opposing factions of the Holy Empire and the Religious Alliance. Fight against other players and NPCs in action-oriented combat where players must click their abilities to attack, unlike many modern MMORPGs with automated combat. The game offers a variety of PvP-oriented content that is catered to solo players and groups, including guild-wide battles that determine turf ownership.
