Overview

Pirate Crusaders Overview

Pirate Crusaders is a free-to-play browser-based MMORPG set in the 16th century of a war-torn fantasy world. Upon character creation players pick a side: East Aldrich, the game’s pirates; and West Douglas, the game’s navy. The two warring factions of the world are constantly striving for territorial control over Blackwater Bay, stemming into the game’s large-scale PvP battles that can include up to 100 players in the battle for territory. Its PvE features allow players to enter dungeons with friends to complete difficult bosses and finish quest lines, which give players rewards such as new ship building materials or pets. At the center of the game is the strategic naval battle system, which places ships on a grid and allows players to summon their captains into combat. Players must get in range of enemies to activate their weapons and abilities without compromising defensive points, making it paramount to stay aware of unit placement and keep in mind enemy spawns mid-battle, similar to some of the combat elements in Voyage Century Online. For easier battles, players can turn on the auto battle mode that allows the game to complete battles automatically.

Pirate Crusaders Key Features:

  • Turn-based Naval Battles – summon captains to a grid and take turns fighting enemy ships, taking care to place units strategically and activate abilities at the right time.
  • Boat Manufacturing – craft boats with materials found in the game’s world, allowing you to craft progressively stronger ships.
  • Collectible Battle Pets – collect and upgrade pets to join you in the battlefield, offering a large boost to stats depending on pet rarity.
  • Over 100 Recruitable Captains – visit the game's tavern to invite new and powerful captains to head your ships, building your fleet with unique abilities and stats.
  • Large-scale PvP – fight against the opposing faction and other players in the game’s multiple PvP modes including Legion War, Camp War, and Arena.
  • Daily Bosses and Dungeons – team up with friends and fight world bosses, daily bosses, and elite dungeons.
