Prime World Overview
Prime World is 3D fantasy themed MOBA that allows players to customize and control their hero's progression in a near infinite different ways with the game's unique talent system. Players gain "talents" by playing the game or crafting them within the game's castle building section. The game's castle building aspect is similar to browser-based strategy games like Tribal Wars 2, Evony, and Forge of Empires–except without the army building. Despite the odd combination of the two genres, Prime World offers a unique experience unlike any other in the MOBA genre. The game features two warring factions: "The Imperium" and "The Keepers." Faction selection has little impact on gameplay, as both factions have access to the same heroes, albeit with different names.
Prime World Key Features:
- Unique Castle Building – unique mix of castle building and MOBA. Resources gathered in the castle building elements can be used to upgrade heroes and obtain new "talents"
- Hero Variety– heroes don't have "set" abilities. Players can equip any hero with 36 different talents
- Hero Customization – hundreds of different talents available, creating a near infinite number of possible hero builds
- Hero Purchasing System – heroes must be purchased with Silver Coins before they can be used (Obtained through Castle Building/Gameplay).
- Match Length – individual matches take ~40 minutes but teams can surrender early.
- Varied Game Modes – Borderlands (5v5 typical MOBA) and Outpost (3v3 typical MOBA). Other game modes include Dragonwald, Apocalypse, Native Land, Switcheroo, and Challenge.
