Steam Unveils Annual Best Of Steam List With A Surprising Entry From Decades Past

Valve is celebrationg the end of 2023 and the start of a new year with its annual Best of Steam list, showcasing the 100 most-played and top-selling games of the past year and categorized into Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze based on their standing.

You can expect to see most of the regular top performers on the board, such as Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and Apex Legends, alongside some of the biggest releases of 2023, including Starfield, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Hogwarts Legacy, as well as some surprising entries, like Sons of the Forest, Goose Goose Duck, and the original Half-Life from 1998, which seems to be extremely popular among Steam Deck users.
