Ragnarok Journey Overview
Ragnarok Journey is a browser MMORPG set in the classic Ragnarok Online universe. Start your journey as a novice, and then choose a specialized class—such as Mage or Swordsman—at level 10, sending your on a journey to earn experience and advance through your chosen classes job path. Manually add stat points as you level up, or let the game tell you what the game thinks is the optimal stat path. Accumulate new abilities by manually adding skill points, and unleash devastating attacks on a menagerie of colorful fantasy monsters, the same model used in the classic Ragnarok Online. Undertake quests from NPCs, sending you across the world, encountering new areas and new soundtracks that will motivate any classic player's nostalgia. The typical browser fare is also in Ragnarok Online: daily log-in rewards, events, a VIP cash shop, auto-play mechanics, and a never-ending quest chain sending you on missions to kill handfuls of mobs.

Development History / Background:
Ragnarok Journey is co-developed by Gravity Interactive and Wegames Corporation, and published by Warpportal. The game initially launched exclusively in Taiwan as "Ragnarok Web," on July 13, 2016. Western Closed Beta testing began and ended on March 27, 2017, and was available to players who pre-registered before February 24, 2017. The servers then opened the same day, on March 27, 2017. Ragnarok Journey officially shut down on May 31, 2019 as officially announced by the team at Warportal on their official Facebook page.
