SolForge Overview
SolForge is a free-to-play digital collectible card game developed by the team that created Ascension and co-designed by the creator of Magic: The Gathering, Richard Garfield. The game combines the depth and strategy of physical strategy card gaming with the convenience of online gaming, allowing players to access a deep strategic card game at their fingertips. Take on the role of a Forgeborn, as one of the blessed few who can harness and wield the powers of the SolForge, controlling four factions in the war over dwindling resources. The game's four factions include the natural Uterra, the robotic Alloyin, the elemental Tempys, and the undead Nekrium factions, each with distinct playstyles and identities. Reduce your opponent's health to zero with a deck of 30 cards, comprised of up to two factions, to win the game. One of the game's unique mechanics is that the cards transform as they are played, leveling up as the player uses more turns, allowing the discarded cards to be shuffled back into the deck as stronger versions of their previous form. As cards level, they get stat increases and new abilities, rewarding players for choosing their played cards carefully.
SolForge Key Features:
- Unique Card Leveling Mechanic – transform cards into stronger versions of themselves as you play and discard cards.
- Four Distinct Factions – pick from four unique factions of cards to play: Uterra, Alloyin, Tempys, and Nekrium, each suiting different playstyles and preferences.
- Card Forging – utilize your unused card duplicates to create new, desirable cards with the game's card forging system.
- Campaign and VS AI Modes – play through the game's tutorials and campaign mode, or play against AI decks to polish your skills for PvP.
- Variety of PvP Content – participate in matches against other players in the form of drafts, quick plays based on deck, and tournaments.
