Soul Saver Online Overview
Soul Saver Online is a 2D side-scroller set in a high-fantasy universe, where players slay countless numbers of colorful and quirky monsters, in a world with a chibi anime art style. Start by chooising between two factions, either The Evil Forces or Central Districts. Then choose the class that suits your playstyle: archer, magician, fencer, fighter, or assassin. Undertake quests from NPCs, or head to the field and grind monsters. Collect monster souls and use them to improve your stats, gear, skills, and more; along with pieces that are added to your encyclopedia to learn more about the vibrant creatures you've slain.
Soul Saver Online Key Features:
- Multiple Classes - choose your job , whether it be the assassin, archer, magician, fencer, or fighter.
- Monster Encyclopedia - collect monster pieces and add them to your encyclopedia to learn more information about them.
- Soul System - absorb monster souls and use them to improve your stats and upgrade your gear.
- Time To Grind - player can undertake quests, or grinds level by slaying countless enemies throughout the game's world.
- Two Factions - choose between two opposed factions: Central Districts or The Evil Forces.

Development History / Background:
Soul Saver Online is developed by Netgame and published by Smartbig Corproation. It was originally known as Ghost Online, and released globally in July, 2008 before shutting down on June 03, 2009. Ghost Online Malayasia also shut down, on August 31, 2009, and the Vietnam version shut down on January 31, 2009. Though th egame is still operational in Korea. Ghost Online was rebranded Soul Saver Online under publisher Smartbig Coporation and re-released on July 19, 2012. It was then posted to Steam Greenlight on October 30, 2013, and added to the Steam platform on April 05, 2017.
