Tyto Online Overview
Begin a new adventure on the planet Ovo in Tyto Online, a futuristic educational multiplayer RPG with sandbox elements. With Earth rendered uninhabitable, humanity has taken to space to find a new home. Players start as a student accepted at Tyto Academy, tasked with the responsibility of learning about life on Ovo. Engage in middle and high school STEM education in an interactive way by completing quests, collecting data on the new lifeforms on Ovo, and creating biodomes. Level up characters and customize appearances with clothing, acquire unique pets, and change the decor of your home base. Compete in friendly "Water Balloon Roller Derby Capture-the-Flag" PvP, explore different city zones, and gather resources and materials to craft items. Content that players will learn about include ecology and heredity modules.

Development History / Background:
Tyto Online is a futuristic educational multiplayer RPG with sandbox elements developed and published by Immersed Games, a small gaming company based in Gainesville, FL. Development on the game begin in 2014, along with a Kickstarter campaign. Immersed Games released a smaller game in April 2016 called Tyto Ecology, with plans to implement the game into Tyto Online. The game began beta testing and went live for early access via Steam in November 2016 for the PC platform. Mac support came out late 2016.
